Remove group member

Here’s how you remove a group member:

In this example, I’d like to remove “Rachel Brantley” from my group.


1. Under Group Actions, in the top right, choose “Edit Participant list.”


2. Select checkbox by name you’d like to remove.


3. Select “Remove from group” from pull-down menu.


4. After selecting “Remove from group,” press OK.


5. Name is now removed.

Remove/Add Assistant Group Leader

As a group leader, you can’t change who is the main group leader, but you do have control over your assistant leader, who has all the same abilities (taking attendance, etc.) that you do.

In this example, “Rachel Brantley” is my assistant leader and I’d like to change her to being a normal group member.


1. Under Group Actions, in the top right, choose “Edit Participant list”



2. Click on the checkbox next to the name of the participant you wish to change.


3. From the pull-down menu ….


… choose the group status you’d like to change the person to.


4. Press OK button 


5. The participant’s status is changed.


You can use this same process to change a Group Member to an Assistant Leader.
Only change is in Step 3, select “Assistant Leader” rather than “Group Member.”

Add participant to your group

Here are the steps to add a participant to your group:

1. In the Participants tab of your group, click “+ New Member.”


2. Under “Who do you want to add or invite to this group?” choose “People by name.” 


3. From the pop-up window, choose “Add directly.”


4. In the text box, type in the name of the person you want to find. When you see their name pop up, click on it.

Helpful tip: If you can’t remember their full name (or if you don’t know if they’re in Crossroads Account as “Dave” or “David”) try just their last name (like “Test” in the photo above) or a couple of letters of their first name, a space and then a couple letters of their last name (example for above would be “Ja (space) Te.”)


5. Now that you have the name selected, you can add another name or click “Add Now” at the bottom if you are done adding names.


6. This screen lets you know that you are successful by showing the names added.


7. Now the new name(s) appear(s) in your participants list.
