What if someone in my household needs an account, but doesn’t have an email address?
No problem! Sometimes situations arise where a person needs a Crossroads Account for volunteer scheduling, but doesn’t “do” email. For example, most Middle School students that serve don’t have an email addresses or check it very often if they do. There are two things that are best in these situations:
- Decide who should receive any email communication for that person and update their profile with that email address.
- Call the church office at 765-453-4626 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and request a username/password for the person needing a Crossroads Account.
So for instance, perhaps a 12-year old serves by running slides during Sunday Kids Worship, but doesn’t have an email account. That student’s parent can update their child’s email field and place their own email address there. Then they could email email@example.com and request a Crossroads Account for them. This way, their student can know when they are scheduled to serve & confirm or decline those invitations.
